Learn how to fold towels to save space and make your linen closet look neat, tidy, and organised.
Does your linen closet look like a disorganised mess? Are you forever playing the fun game of “shove everything in then shut the door really quickly to keep it from falling out”?
Because I have a snazzy little towel-folding technique that might help.
I learnt this method when I was 13, from a neighbour who owned her own cleaning business.
And I’ve been a convert ever since.
It’s quick, it’s easy, and folding your towels in this way helps save space and keep your linen cupboard neat and organised.
(Or, let’s be real – Slightly less messy.)
Plus, once you get the hang of it (which will take, like, 2 minutes), you can totally impress people with your rad towel-folding skills.
Oooooh, look at you, regular towel-folding homemaking queen.
How to fold towels to save space & keep your linen closet neat and tidy
Step 1: Fold your towel in half
Fold your towel in half to make a rough square shape.
step 2: Fold your towel in half again
Fold your towel in half again, as if you were closing a book.
Step 3: Fold the towel into thirds
Mentally divide your towel into thirds. Fold one side of the towel so that it covers two thirds of the towel.
Then, take the part you just folded and fold it over the remaining third, as if you were wrapping up a tasty, tasty wrap.
And that’s it! You’ve now got some snazzy looking towels in your linen closet.
Have a lovely day,
