Two free Peter Rabbit prints.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time at my nan’s house, both after school and during school holidays. In her spare bedroom, my nan had a collection of children’s books that she had kept from when my dad and his siblings were children in the early 1960s. She had so many amazing books, but one of my absolute favourites was The Tales of Peter Rabbit, in large part due to its beautiful watercolour illustrations.
So when I found out that Peter Rabbit was out of copyright, I jumped at the opportunity to make some cute free nursery printables using Beatrix Potter’s original art. Now I’d like to share these free printables with you!
Both printables have an image of Peter Rabbit with the entire text from The Tale of Peter Rabbit as a background. The first image of Peter Rabbit comes from The Tale of Peter Rabbit, while the second image is taken from The Tale of Benjamin Bunny.
The prints are A3 sized but can be scaled down to fit other frame sizes including 8″ x 10″, 5″ x 7″, and A4.
In terms of framing these free printables, you could:
- Frame them in a pretty, rustic wooden frame. You can buy a pretty wooden A3 frame here or a weathered wooden frame here.
- Hang them using this vintage A3 poster hanger frame.
- Create your own wooden frame from stretched canvas (that’s what I did)
- Display them using your own DIY vintage poster scroll frame.
